Gwendolyn Torrence

Originally from the DC area, Gwendolyn is a New York based actor with classical dance training and experience in trapeze. Gwendolyn graduated from Montclair State University where she received a BFA in Acting. Theatre is a perfect platform for her love of story-telling, comedic timing and sense of dramatic nuance.​  

 

At a young age Gwendolyn would fall asleep listening to music play from her barbie radio. Whenever she was listening to music, she was dancing in her head. That love of dance was realized at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, where she received an intense and rewarding dance education from highly renowned dance instructors. Her combined love of dance and theatre found a home in devised work and physical theatre.
